Thank you so much to Crawley residents for your kindness and generosity in supporting our campaign to collect much needed items for a local food bank in the run up to Christmas.
Since late November, we have been a collection point for FareShare Sussex which gives food to people who find themselves in tough financial or vulnerable situations.
We have been an estate agent in the town since 2006 and Matthew Cousins, Director, said “We are genuinely humbled by the generosity and kindness of people who have dropped in all sorts of much needed items. Donations have ranged from a couple of tins, to large shopping bags filled with non-perishable goods and every single item will make a difference to a local family this Christmas.
“It’s a very worthy cause and I think that’s why people have responded to our campaign so well. It shows that community spirit is alive and well in Crawley.”
“FareShare Sussex is a charity run by local people for local people and it really is making a big positive difference to many members of the community.
